Robin Guenier Robin Guenier is a writer, speaker and Internet entrepreneur. He has a particular interest in the impact of computing technology on society during the transition to the twenty-first century, and has been particularly interested in the century date-change computer problem, risk management and the opportunities for e-business. Guenier has an MA from Oxford University and is a barrister. He has been chief executive of various high-tech businesses. He is chairman of Medix UK, an e-business project. He is a regular contributor to TV and radio and has had speaking engagements throughout the world. In 1998, he was voted "IT Personality of the Year" by Computer Weekly and, in 1999, received the award for "Outstanding Contribution to the Industry" at the Computing Awards.
