Diabetes

Anyone suffering from diabetes needs to control blood sugar levels by balancing the amount of sugar in their diet with insulin injections. As a result, many carry hypodermic needles, insulin bottles, medication, card or identity bracelet with them, indicating that they are diabetics.
There are two main problems that can occur in diabetics:
* Hypoglycaemia, which is a severe drop in the blood sugar level
* Hyperglycaemia, which occurs when the blood sugar levels are too high
